MSM improves mild knee pain
We explored the effects of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) on knee pain through a well-structured randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial.

Involving 88 healthy participants, the study compared the outcomes of those taking MSM against a placebo over a 12-week period.

Results showed that MSM significantly improved knee health and overall well-being according to the Japanese Knee Osteoarthritis Measure, with a notable difference in scores between the two groups.

This suggests that MSM could be a helpful option for those dealing with mild knee pain.

We conducted a double-blind, randomized controlled trial to assess the effectiveness of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) for knee osteoarthritis (OA). Fifty participants aged 45 to 90 received either MSM or a placebo over 12 weeks.

Although we observed some improvement in pain and physical function for those taking MSM, these changes were minimal and may not hold clinical significance. Hence, while there are some positive effects, the overall benefits of MSM for treating knee OA remain uncertain.

MSM ineffective for knee pain
We examined the impact of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) on knee pain in military trainees. In a randomized controlled trial, 180 participants, aged 18 to 40, either received 3 grams of MSM or a placebo for 8 weeks.

Unfortunately, our findings showed no significant improvements in knee pain levels or mood scores among those taking MSM compared to the placebo group. Although MSM can be safely consumed, it seems it may not effectively prevent knee pain in active individuals.

Glucosamine, a major component of cartilage tissue, protects joints from damage and has a shock-absorbing effect. It also contributes to the synovial fluid, which lubricates and nourishes the joints. Chondroitin aids in producing joint fluid and restoring cartilage, possessing anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Together, glucosamine and chondroitin effectively protect and restore cartilage. Since I began taking them, I’ve noticed my knee almost never hurts, and I’ve even observed improvements in my hair and nails.

Knee pain relief

I bought this a year ago based on my trainer's recommendation for physical exercise. Initially, I didn't notice much and didn't repurchase it. Then, after a period of running and cycling, one knee was in agony for a month. I ordered it again and, after a month of consistent use, my knee no longer bothered me. Now, I take this supplement periodically, as it helps replenish joint functions. I wasn't sure about these supplements initially, but I’ve grown to trust them.

MSM shows promise for knee pain
We conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to see if methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) helps alleviate knee pain in people with osteoarthritis. Over 12 weeks, participants took either 3g of MSM or a placebo, twice daily.

We observed significant improvements in pain and physical function for those taking MSM compared to the placebo group. However, no major side effects were reported, and some assessments did not show clear benefits. While MSM showed promise, more research is needed to confirm its long-term effectiveness and safety.

Working! After heavy squats and improper running on asphalt destroyed my knees two years ago, this product has truly helped alleviate the morning stiffness and crunching in my knees. I also no longer experience sore feet. I continue taking it as a preventive measure, although there's not much to worry about!

I began taking Now foods’ glucosamine and MSM on my doctor’s advice for my nagging knee pain. After just six weeks, the pain diminished significantly, and after two months, it completely vanished. I will definitely repurchase it for continued treatment as the composition is excellent.

Knees no longer hurt

About six months ago, I began experiencing knee pain and tried multiple treatments with no success. I hesitantly tried a product from a famous Japanese sesame company, but I doubted it would be effective due to the high cost. After drinking it for five months with a bit of scepticism, I suddenly realised my knees no longer hurt! I can sit upright without discomfort, and even cycling is pain-free now! This is remarkably affordable compared to the sesame company's product. I’m very grateful!

I highly recommend this!

On the advice of friends, I discovered wonderful supplements on this site! Having had two knee joint replacement surgeries, my mobility is limited. Since I began taking iHerb glucosamine and chondroitin, I noticed a quick positive effect. The capsules are easy to swallow; I take 2 in the morning and one in the evening, and I have not experienced any side effects. I recommend this high-quality product!

Eliminates clicking

This really helps! I decided to try it because my knee constantly clicked in all situations. It was concerning to train under heavy weights with this click. I also bought knee pads, but this addition turned out to be more cost-effective. I took 2 capsules daily, while my husband took 3, depending on his weight. Now, my knee doesn’t click, so the product works! I recommend it!
